Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

Octadrop converts audio files and copies them to a memory card. Your audio stays on your Mac and the card you choose.

What Octadrop collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking. It has no network access and does not send your audio or app usage to us or to third parties.

What stays on your Mac

Octadrop reads the audio files and folders you choose and writes copies to your chosen card folder. It never changes your original files.

Inside its local app storage, it keeps:

The last destination reference stays until it is replaced or the app’s local data is removed. Transfer records are removed when the transfer or cleanup finishes. If the card is unavailable or a file cannot be safely identified, a cleanup record stays until cleanup can complete.

Local app data may remain after you uninstall the Mac app. You can remove these records by deleting Octadrop’s local app data after quitting it; complete any interrupted-transfer cleanup first. Contact us if you need help. Removing the app’s local records does not delete your source audio or completed files on the card.
